犬熱病一種犬科動(dòng)物的疾病，根據(jù)國(guó)家農(nóng)業(yè)部于2008年12月11日公布的動(dòng)物疫病名錄統(tǒng)計(jì)，犬瘟熱屬三類動(dòng)物疫病，主要感染犬科動(dòng)物，傳染渠道主要是通過(guò)與病獸直接接觸傳染，也可通過(guò)空氣或食物傳染，不屬于人畜共患病。
犬瘟熱是由犬瘟熱病毒引起的一種高度接觸性傳染病，傳染性強(qiáng)，死亡率可高達(dá)80%以上。犬瘟熱癥狀初期狗的體溫高達(dá)39．5～41攝氏度，食欲不振，精神沉郁，眼鼻流出水樣分泌物，打噴嚏，有腹瀉。在以后2～14天內(nèi)再次出現(xiàn)體溫升高，咳嗽，有膿性鼻涕、膿性眼屎這時(shí)候已經(jīng)是犬瘟中期了。同時(shí)繼發(fā)胃腸道疾病，嘔吐、拉稀，食欲廢絕。精神高度沉郁，嗜睡。犬瘟熱發(fā)病后期就會(huì)出現(xiàn)典型的神經(jīng)癥狀，口吐白沫，抽搐，此時(shí)比較難治，主要看照料方法。
